ACCREDITATION OPTIONS
Glacial Trails is not an official school and our classes are not accredited. For most homeschoolers this is not an issue. However, in some cases parents may want their students to receive official credit. For students already in a public or private school, credit is not directly offered by Glacial Trails, but is nearly assured. Luckily, there are several schools and homeschool organizations around the country that have been established to meet the accreditation need! If you would like to earn formal credit for the classes you take with us, you have several options:
- Have your existing school pre-approve the course for credit. We can work with you and the school directly.
- Select the ‘graded option’ for your course and work with the school afterwards to receive credit once you have your grade.
- Work with us to have your graded coursework accredited via another agency or private high school (there is usually an extra fee).
